Howdy doo, everyone! ChocolateSpider here with another figure review. Today I am reviewing something I have waited a very long time to have in my collection; a figure of Hinata Hyuuga from the smash hit series, "Naruto Shippuden!"

The box is cute and rather slim, which means that shipping for this figure was fairly low compared to my usual orders of 1/8 scale figures. I received this from AmiAmi in March and the shipping was only 780 yen for unregistered SAL.
Take her out of the box, set her up on the base, and you instantly have this ninja sweetie ready to cute up your shelf something fierce.

Right away you will notice the posing of her left leg seems awkwardly bent. What this figure attempts to depict is Hinata playfully and lightly running around someone; most likely Naruto because they are on a date. I suppose if one were to catch a single frame of Hinata in this motion, you might see the legs in this position since she would be circling around someone.
I tried running around like this myself and have found my leg will bend this way momentarily as I maintain my balance keeping my path circling around an object. So while this posing may look awkward in figure form, this is the way her legs would bend when moving around in this manner. I personally would have had this leg standing straight up or maybe have her standing on her toes, but this becomes a bit less awkward to look at once you take all of this into consideration.
Moving right along, this is the first figure in MegaHouse's new line of Naruto figures called "Naruto Gals." It is basically females from the series showing of their cute and womanly charms. While something action or combat oriented is always my preferred theme when buying a Naruto figure, there is no denying what a cutie patootie Hinata is.
I remember when I first started watching the show on Toonami. I have always had a major weakness for tiny cute things, and I often felt a strong urge to boop her nose on the tv screen. This behavior made my father very worried about me when I was a teenager.

Then Naruto Shippuden comes along and I am like "what is this!? She has grown up to be even more adorable!" *flails and giggle fits* (>ω<)

Anyway, let's take a closer look at this figurine. The base is certainly far from impressive. It is just a clear plastic disc with a barely visible leaf village symbol printed on it. Then below, you see the Naruto logo.

I suppose with a figure like this, an extravagant base isn't necessary and would be best left to a more dynamically posed figure. Nothing to give glowing praise about, but it certainly gets the job done properly for this figurine.
I will admit I am a bit concerned about the plastic pegs breaking at some point as I have had that happen with a few other figures by MegaHouse. The pegs are set at an angle to make it capture the specific second both of her feet are of the ground while making this playful jogging motion. Speaking of her feet, you can also see how her toes have been painted with a cute glossy shade of pink.

Her foot fits on tightly, but not too tight. It seems that MegaHouse has found the proper balance between secure fitting, easily removable and peg strength with this figure. The problem I have seen in past MegaHouse figures regarding the pegs breaking is that the pegs were so tight of a fit, you had to use a fair amount of force to insert or remove the pegs from the feet.
Now let's take a look at her face, which I would say is 100% perfect.
Look at that little face. How do you say "no" to that face?

You don't! You boop the nose, give her whatever snacks she wants and protect that smile with your life! They did an excellent job with the blush on her cheeks. That is the exact face she would make when looking at her beloved Naruto. (*´ヮ`*)
I like the job they did with her hair. Hinata has always had silky smooth hair and that has been accurately represented in the sculpt. They even painted those little shine spots on her head to show just how shiny her hair is. She must be using Pantene full volume shampoo or something.

Her outfit is crafted nicely. Her jacket has a smooth paintjob making it look very soft. I also like the attention to detail in her jacket's zipper. Her ninja headband around her neck is painted nicely to give it a genuine metal look.

I also have to give MegaHouse props for the netting around her bosom. I have not been able to identify what the material used here is, but I think it is fabric or some other form of thin wiring. Regardless of what this is made with, it is very precise and tightly fitted.

They have done a nice job with her pants. it is sculpted and painted excellently to accurately create the folds and creases made from moving in the pants.

The attention to detail with the bandage around her thigh and her kunai pocket also add to the figure's presentation. Even in a casual setting, a ninja must always be ready. (•̀ᴗ•́)و
AND THAT BOOTY!!! ♡ε♡

Please forgive my lewdness, Lady Hinata. That is a super cute butt! It is amazing what ninja training will do for one's booty. You can see how the pants have been sculpted to have a tight fit around this highly pleasing angle giving it a yoga pants type of feel. I'm gonna throw in another booty pic because booty is life. ♡ε♡

Wait a moment.....is that....camel toe?
While it may seem that way, it is actually not. That is just the seam line of her pants. If you look at the pants you are wearing right now, you will likely notice a similar seam line in the same region. I actually did not immediately notice this looks like camel toe because of my awareness of this element of pants construction. But now that I stop to think about it, this could be a very NSFW picture. (o .o)
And that pretty much covers everything about this figurine. It is a relatively simple, yet very detailed figure of a fan favorite character from this legendary anime series. If you are a fan of Naruto and need a Hinata figure in your collection, you really can't go wrong with this.

If you would prefer something more dynamic and extravagant, perhaps you should wait for Tsume's 1/10 scale statue with her performing the Twin Lion Fist attack. Or better yet, why not get both? You can never have too much Hinata. (*´ヮ`*)
Thanks for taking the time to read this review. I will now finish the last few pictures for my April loot post. Following that, I will proceed with reviewing my recently acquired Transformers Masterpiece Movie Megatron. Then comes a blog I have been anxiously preparing to share with MFC for several months. I will give everyone here a tour of my newly renovated and organized room. Be prepared for an nerd overload. See you all next time! This is ChocolateSpider signing out!

Thank you for reading. I'm glad you enjoyed the review. I am sure you will love this figure to bits. :D
There is no official scale labeled to her, but she is roughly a 1/8 scale. She is pretty much in the same size range as most of my 1/8 scales. Glad you mentioned this. I forgot to add that in the review. >.>
Thank you for reading. I agree that the Tsume one looks better. I'm totally going to pre-order it. :D
Yes, she is!! :)
Thank you for reading. Hinata is totally best girl. :D
