Another Daretoku!? Oretoku!! set review! This time it is an art studio set.

https://static.myfigurecollection.net/upload/pictures/2018/03/21/1947054.jpeg

The set consists of 2 different easels and 3 chairs, some with paint splatters on them and some without, along with a few accessories. Like before, it's a gashapon set of 5.

As you can see, this set is actually pretty good sizing for nendoroids, and is decent for Figmas. I've sat on some pretty low and uncomfortable art chairs before, so I'd almost say any sizing goes haha.

Both the nendoroid and the figma can hold the paintbrush and the sizing doesn't look too terrible. Brushes do come in all shapes and sizes, after all.

The accessories for the scene include a 'plaster' of a sphere as well as a foot, 2 brushes, a small plastic palette, and a bucket with 3 sections inside.

If you're feeling like the scene needs more, you can buy mini canvases at most art and craft shops, the smallest square one fit quite snugly on the easel, while I found the more rectangular one to be rather large, but great for background.

Altogether a pretty cute little set for 1000Y or so that has the potential to be quite fun if you put your mind to it! I believe this set will be up for a re-release in the next 6 months so look out for it if you're feeling inspired and want to play!

Thanks for reading, keep accessorizing!

Also, I've just reorganized all my miniatures, would anyone be interested in seeing sets that are long out of print/harder to get? I was doing this to try to be helpful for more current items, many of the items I have aren't available anymore and/or only partial sets so I'm at a bit of a loss until I get something new haha!

lollikins5 years ago#31669476Hi where did you get these? I would really love to get them if they are up for rerelease but need to know where to keep a look out at. Thanks!

You can get them from most places that carry gashapon, the kanji for it is 誰得 俺得. I get mine off Rakuten usually, though I saw them at amazon.co.jp. I found amazon's prices quite a bit higher.

The MFC user ziq does a kidsroom (a store on rakuten) order every month thread/9107, so you can hop on that and order from kidsroom or you can look on english rakuten when sets are scheduled for release. Right now kidsroom has this set for 2500Y item.rakuten.co.... You can also lift the Japanese from the description and google, seems like there's single pieces on Rakuten for a few hundred yen.

yurii5 years ago#31669546Thanks for these! It's great to see brands other than re-ment ^^
I'd love to see some older, out of print sets as well

Ok I'll try! Problem is I didn't save the papers that told me what the sets are ^_^;; And extras that weren't the right size were sold off.

Cantisama5 years ago#31669886This set looks perfect for Hidamari Sketch Nendos (too bad they never released Hiro or Sae). Seems a bit too small for Figma to me.
Thanks for sharing ^^

OOh I don't know that series, I'll have a look! Thanks!

CrimsonPumpkin5 years ago#31665674Thank you so much for another great review! I'm loving these so please keep it up! :D
I only got set 1 and 4 from the whole thing cos everything else was sold out and I was super happy when they arrived since they fit nendoroids so well!!
I did made something for set 4, the palette which is all white, I wanted it to be different so I used acrylic markers and put different colours so the palette was being used with paints! It gives a different vibe of course ^_^
You're also inspiring me to do reviews on my miniature sets....but I am so unsure about it....not very confident to do reviews lmao.
That's why I appreciat what you're doing!! ^_^

Ah you’re sweet as ever, thank you! Happy to hear you own some too and are enjoying them, what a nice idea to add some color to the palette.

Yes, please make some reviews! It’s not that hard, get a white backdrop, snap some pictures and write a few words! I don’t think with miniatures you need to go as in-depth as people tend to do with figures, to me it’s more of a ‘these exist! They do/don’t work with figma/nendoroids! Maybe they have a use for you’ kind of thing, but realistically you just make a review what you want it to be. For me, yeah, I like it to be quick, easy and concise so that’s what I do. Anything I think is a nice detail, other people probably would appreciate too. Just try it!

I don’t think anyone would heckle you for sharing, that’s for sure!

ketolic5 years ago#31656718These reviews have been really helpful and I appreciate how you add a nendoroid and figma to your reviews for scale. Thank you!

Thank you for your kind comment! I'm very happy that they are useful to you.

I like these reviews as a fun read since I don't buy accessories, so if you want to go into out of print products you have my vote. :D

Haha ok I'll keep that in mind! I almost added another set to this one that isn't Japanese, has a paint theme but it's long out of print so I held off. Trying to keep these reviews simple and quick/easy to read (it's mostly about sizing anyhow), glad you enjoy them!

KiruKiru5 years ago#31656054Ohhh so cute! I have mini easels and canvasses from a random local store but these chairs and accesoiries are so cute!

Yes, aren't they cute? I have a wood easel from the craft store that goes along with the canvases pictured but it's definitely a different feel. I do wish this set came with an oil paint palette as well as a watercolor one, but whatever.
