AkeitaFinally started to get back on collecting figures again! Being in New Zealand, I have to be mindful of shipping costs and the additional markups the NZ retailers add to the figures. The odd trip of visiting the NZ retailers in Auckland justified my having to buy from Japanese websites.
JUNE FIGURES
1. Kimetsu no Yaiba - Kamado Nezuko - Glitter & Glamours (Bandai Spirits)

My first Kimetsu no Yaiba figure. I initially wanted to get one of Tanjiro first but when I saw the height of this - I just had to!! Oddly enough, she came with some orange paint markings on her face that I had to scrub off with a q-tip and hand soap (not sure if this was the best way but I was told not to use alcohol at all costs). It eventually removed itself (mostly) so all is well!
I'm quite happy with her base. I usually prefer figures being able to stand without one because I have limited space on my shelves :') so it's nice to have her on a small-sized circular stand. She's a prize figure so not too surprised with her hair/paint being a bit unfinished. Overall a cute prize figure, bonus points for the height!

I LOVE THIS MAN. I wish I was financially able to adopt this precious baby. I was on the fence between getting this or getting the Taito prize figure, but I recently found out that the stand for the Taito figure is necessary (and on top of that, humungous) - so dodged that one!
His face is a little weird, but I love the clothing folds and his hair colour is exactly what I imagined it to be. Struggle making him stand without his base but not impossible with blutack on hand. I will continue to keep an eye out for more Itadori figures so I can personally make a shrine out of him. I LOVE HIM.

SUCH A STEAL from Surugaya! Also a part of my first purchase from this site. I have bought a number of figures from them while I visited Japan but have never tried their website until now. A thing to note is that their prices seem to fluctuate (either up/down), and they seem to only ship via EMS for New Zealand. The delivery package I got was pretty dodgy, just a strip of thin, store logo-branded cardboard (which I think led to one of my figure boxes being damaged!). Mandarake's was ultimately tons better.
Anyway I managed to get the Premium Box before they were up for pre-ordering on AmiAmi. Mandarake had this for about 15,000 JPY and Surugaya, I believe, raised their price after the pre-orders opened. My purchase was unopened and only had slight damages on the box itself so yay!
I am so happy with how they turned out. Yuuri comes with three bendable glasses and I didn't notice until I looked closely that both Yuuri and Victor come with their matching (wedding) rings!!!! AHHHHH!!! I don't care about their bases being large, and that they can't stand without them - they're amazing! They got their curves, their detailed cloth folds, but sadly no nipples for Yuuri! You can see from the paint job that he's wearing a slightly wet shirt and it's a slight disappointment that the human anatomy has escaped us once again. Also, no foot fetish but.. their feet look good with their shiny, painted toenails.

The item that must've gotten a few hits in its journey to home :'( No biggie, the figure itself is fine but would have appreciated it if they have been packed more safely! Oh wells, my first Natsume Takashi figure <3 I think the original version resembles the anime series' season 1 so I quite like the 'aged' look! He is apparently a 1/8 scale but compared to Orange Rouge's Yuuri/Victor, he is so smol.
He is absolutely gorgeous, and his base is currently the best I own TT v TT. The grass are so sharp! We have Nyanko-sensei on the branch! The figure itself is pretty expensive but I figured that I gotta pay homage to the anime series that accompanied me through my high school years...
I would love to own more Natsume Yuujinchou figures but for now, he will hang out with my Tanuma and Natori prized figures :') I have another Natsume on the way which I cannot wait for!

For the life of me, I could not find this man in Mandarake/Surugaya for a reasonable price.. I have been holding onto Iwaizumi and he's been lonely for 2 years!! Finally, my Haikyuu ship is complete. Not sure why these DXF figures need to be indented within their bases - they're too far from each other!

Another man that is being sold at outrageous prices.. luckily got him cheap in NZ! Another ship finally paired together on my shelf! Yay! Like all other Banpresto DXF Figures, his distorted face isn't abnormal :'D At least I will (hopefully) receive Nendoroid Kuroo soon..

As expected, Furyu once again exaggerates the size of the figure by putting him in a box that could fit a standard prize figure lol. BOOOOOIIIIIIIII. He is so ugly, but I'm devoted to having figures of Itadori Yuuji in various poses. His face is SCREAMING for help. But on the bright side, I hardly look closely anyways and admire my shelf from afar. He'll just be a strawberry blob in my blurry field of vision.
The dream is to have him and Gojo sitting with each other :') I'm sure Furyu won't mess up a guy with a blindfold on.
5. Death Note - L - Nendoroid (#017) (Good Smile Company)

Got him second-hand so faint marks are quite visible but tbh, I'm just happy I have a figure of L! Seeing that it's a super old Nendoroid, I wasn't used to the head joints that already came with the faceplates and I've already broken like two of them.... On the bright side, the trade also included additional parts for L and other Death Note Nendoroids. Maybe I'll get the old Nendoroid version of Light and they can be handcuffed together ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
