Actually the plush market suffers from the bootlegs ten times more than the figure market.
That and it seems like Gift might have switched manufacturers for producing the authentics since they suffer more loss than gain, one of my plushes were made in 2012, but the quality of cloth and the texture of those round tags feels different from plushes and tags made in 2010.
