I sort of wonder how many people they're expecting to buy something like this, but wow!! There's really been a decent little collection of hikago figures coming out these last few years.The series is still quite beloved by Japanese fans, enough to warrant occasional goods assortments/pop up shops at least. Another Nendoroid announcement was extremely unexpected, though- I thought Hikaru and Sai would be all for the anime's 20th anniversary ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I would imagine that since his predecessors binned, they'll probably make a smaller quantity of him.

YESSSS, the highlight of this WonFest for me! After how the other Hikaru no Go nendoroids binned, I didn't think they'll make him, but I'm glad I was wrong. :')
