For what it's worth, I had the same shoe issue a day or so after unboxing her. I glued her back down, and I haven't had an issue in the 8 months since.
I don't recall the foot being all that well attached to the shoe (I want to say it had pegs?). So I expect the glue to be a much sturdier solution since it's spreading out the load over a wider surface area.
