Just got her and she's stunning <3

She’s finally here. Not sure what the hold up was, why she was delayed so many times, but I’m glad the wait is over. Looks cool next to my other Samurai/ninja figures.

I have to take back what I said earlier, holding her in hands the quality of that figure is pretty good like others already said here. The paint job is clean with lots of details, and the surface details are as good as PVC gets. Well done Wing, I'm looking forward to Hemet Nethel and Lanze Reiter now, and please don't make us wait so long again...

bra1nbug11 days ago#128471874thanks for the details.
yea i thought it had something to do with increased shrinkage around the ribs interesting that only the middle 2 are really visible, i guess the top surface is thinner aroud there.
Really wonder if mine was a monday model but if its caused by this i assume it should be more widespread.
But looking at some other user pictures i cant see any lines ... granted its always from the side and not in focus so cant 100% tell ;)
anyway amazon agreed to send a replacement lets see if a 2nd one is the same.
Just got mine from Amazon and there are no visible sink marks. Seems you had bad luck...

madmike11 days ago#128471784I don't have mine yet, but judging from the photos of the base the lines are so called sink marks. That happens when ribs on injection plastic parts are not dimensioned correctly. Where the ribs join the base surface and cross each other, there's an increase in wall thickness and here the plastic will shrink more than in the thinner areas, leaving a mark. As a rule of thumb the ribs should be about two thirds the normal wall thickness, then it should be ok. Next time they should ask a plastics engineer before screwing this up ;)

bra1nbug11 days ago#128457608got her today.
the figure itself looks awesome worth the wait.
I want to compliment wings useing ALL metal pegs ... the head, arm, legs are all with metal core.
i find the assemble actually quite easy just follow the instruction.
remove left arm > insert 3 pegs for the sword > put lefthand around the sword and insert shoulder afterwards. (i just dont see a need for the support rod? the sword is damn stable)

only 2 things i notice:
1) minor ... the design on her sideskirt you see the outlines of the decal but well thats the nature of that and only really noticeable under some light and if you look for it
2) i find it strange and a bit annoying ... her base has visible lines from the supporting rips/grit under the base to make it more riggid. it somehow got visible from the top anyone else?
(2 horizontal lines going across the pegs)
