About

Hello and welcome to my page! I began collecting Pokémon merchandise starting with the video games and TCG cards in 1998/1999 when the franchise hit the USA. However, it wasn't until later in 2010 when I also began collecting the plushes and figures. My username is both a tribute to my love for collecting and a reference to the trainer NPCs found within the games. On my spare time I enjoy uploading plush and figure entries to help expand the Pokémon merchandise database!

PlushManiac • 4 months ago • #120159219Hi Aisuka! Wanted to let you know I've updated the JAN codes on the plushes from www.pokemoncent... like you requested! Also, I have talked to a moderator and they said it is always a good idea to update them with new JAN codes, as they serve as an important resource for collecting purposes. However, right now I do not have the energy to update all Pokemon gen 1 and gen 2 Fit plush JAN codes. I'm sorry! I will probably get to those at a much later time.
PlushManiac • 5 months ago • #118122793Hi! Thanks for reaching out to me. Yes, they should be the same entry. Pokémon Center sometimes likes to re-release the same plush years later with a new product image of it that may or may not include a very slight difference of the design, be it a color change or a very small change in pattern. On the Pokémon Center re-release for Froakie, it looks like the nose bubbles are now a little smaller. The only problem is, despite there being a new Jan code, they do not list the new release date to match. I really wish they would. Regardless, I updated the one on Froakie's entry with the new Jan code. I can update the rest of the plushes' Jan codes later on if you want. :)
Adding my voice to the thank yous - I collected in the late 2000s, and we didn't have good documentation of goods back then for many reasons; since then, Pokémon goods have gotten more plentiful and diverse, and catching up is really hard. You do a good job :)Sorry for my late reply. Thank you so much for the kind words! It is my pleasure and I am really glad that the database can be a source of help to you and other collectors! ^^
